On June 2, 2026, a grand opening ceremony of the Center for Turkic Culture and Heritage, established with the financial support of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, was held at the University of Warsaw, one of Poland’s most prestigious higher education institutions.
The talks focused on transport management, digital mobility, logistics, and the development of transport data ecosystems. Particular attention was given to Finland’s experience in managing road, rail, air, and maritime transportation through an integrated digital infrastructure.
Tokayev highlighted a clear discrepancy between the ambitions of constructing Alatau Smart City and the current socio-economic conditions in the region, stressing the need to accelerate the development of basic infrastructure.
The project, implemented in partnership with Russia's Polymers company, specializes in the production of specialty and multi-purpose polyethylene films used in packaging applications across a wide range of industries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with Duncan Norman, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan, during which he received a copy of the ambassador’s credentials,TurkicWorld reports, citing the Azerbaijani MFA.
The event was attended by representatives of the Mexican government, parliamentarians, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of business, academic, and scientific communities, as well as media representatives, members of the Azerbaijani diaspora, and friends of Azerbaijan.
